I always wanted to try needle felting because it looks so easy and quick, but it is not that easy. First you need to be patient and focused or you can loose a finger (well kind of). I purchased a basic kit in an Asian art fair in San Francisco that included felt, needles, a sponge and instructions. The guy who was selling them has an online store here.
